OUR NEW ARRIVALS
Below we have put in an image of the hard work Eddy Van Eck and his team have been up to in building brand a new tea garden facilities & a brand new shop, As you can see, its going to be awesome!!! definitely worth the wait. Its almost complete..... we are so excited about the project.
We have some really special, exciting news to share.
For those of you who are not following us on FACEBOOK or TWITTER or have not otherwise heard, we have recently had 4 new arrivals to our family.
We are pleased to announce that about a month ago, we were blessed with two little ocelots: one little boy named Faber & his sister Fiji. We also have 2 baby sister serval kittens: Flower & Faith.
Both the serval & ocelot mommies decided not to care for the kittens at birth and there was no other choice for us other than to intervene and remove the fragile infants for hand rearing.
Hand rearing is an ongoing and often demanding task on both Mrs Matty Van Eck & keepers Janine & Kelly. It requires 24hr patient care and round the clock feeding schedules. Cleaning, monitoring, weighing, formulas, medicines, bottles, sterilizers and many late night & early morning. All have non-stop demands with 2hourly feeds that needs performing every single day.
As one can imagine this is a work of passion. However, the 4 little cuddle balls are healthy and happy & doing very well.
We thought that until they are old enough for the public to see, we would post some pics for you to look at.
